Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information A Child's Joy ("we," "us") collects on achildsjoy.org, how we use it, and the choices you have. Bookings, payments and invoices made through our booking system at achildsjoy.net are covered by the privacy policy on that site.
Information you give us
When you use our contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, phone number and/or email address, party date, the rentals you're interested in, and your message. We use it only to respond to you about your event, give availability and pricing, and follow up on your inquiry.
Information collected automatically
- Site activity. Which buttons, rentals and search results you select, and which sections of the page you reach. We use this to understand what visitors are looking for and improve the site.
- Device and visit details. Browser type, device type, approximate location (city level), the page that referred you, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address used to prevent spam.
- A random visitor ID stored in your browser so we can connect activity from the same visit. It does not contain your name or contact details.
- Search terms. Our on-site search assistant, Luna, runs entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us; we only record which result you choose.
Analytics tools and cookies
We use the following services, which may set cookies or similar technologies:

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website
- Supabase, which stores contact form messages and site activity records
- Resend, which delivers contact form messages by email
- Google and Microsoft, for the analytics described above
- Our website and marketing partner, who manages this site and helps route your inquiry to our team
We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and keep reasonable business records. Site activity records are used in aggregate and deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Children's privacy
Our site is meant for parents and event organizers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and stored messages are accessible only to authorized people. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
- Ask what information we have about you, or ask us to correct or delete it
- Opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, or block cookies in your browser
- Ask us to stop contacting you at any time
