Van Management - McDonald's

Many, many thanks to the Van Valkenburg Family for their support of A Child's Joy.  They have over a dozen locations in the Centreville, Chantilly, and Fairfax areas and wanted to help the families that ACJ serves.  We don't want to spoil the surprise, but the stockings will have an extra special treat in them this year!  Thank you, Neva, we appreciate the gifts for the stockings.

Thank you very much, Winchester, VA, Wal-mart!  We are very appreciative of your continued support of our efforts.  With your help, we have been able to start filling our storage unit with toys for next year...how cool is that?!

The Container Store

Much appreciation to our friends at The Container Store in Tyson's Corner for donating our wonderful storage system!  The see-through containers are perfect and they make our storage unit look like Santa's Workshop!  For pictures click here.

Joe's Crab Shack

A Child's Joy had the first 'formal' fundraiser of 2009 at the Fair Lakes location.  With the support of many, many people from the Fairfax Church of Christ and our friends & neighbors, it was a tremendous success!  Thank you to all of ACJ's supporters - they were a very patient, cheerful group (not to mention great dancers, too!).
